Applications are invited for a fully-funded four-year PhD studentship on generative AI and climate misinformation as part of a multi-institutional interdisciplinary national centre for data science and AI funded by Research Ireland. This studentship is available through a structured cohort-based PhD training programme and must start in September 2026. Alongside their individual PhD research, the successful applicant will benefit from transferable skills training (e.g., communication skills, ethics, and entrepreneurship), group activities (e.g., hackathons and spin-out sprints), training on domain-specific topics and peer-led learning opportunities (e.g., research seminars, peer-designed workshops, and reading groups).
